Loan Library

Note: Items are available for check out from August 20, 2008 through May 22, 2009.

The WATI Lending Library is intended to provide access to assistive technology equipment, software, and resources for children throughout Wisconsin. The Lending Library offers short term loans (5 weeks) free of charge to service providers in school districts and Birth to 3 programs. Families should contact their school district or Birth-3 consultant if interested in borrowing from the library. All loans are made through these programs. The agency borrowing the item is responsible for the condition of the items and return postage.

• Electronic Aids to Daily Living
• Positioning, Seating and Mobility
• Vision
• Hearing
• Reference

TO ORDER:
1. Complete a Loan Agreement Form (link below). Please fill in all fields item #(s) and title(s).  Form must be completed and signed yearly to receive your order.
2. Fax completed form to Connie Isackson at 608.868.6740.

Lending Library Policies

Searchable Database (Updated 7/20/07)
This database is an online version of the WATI Lending Library Catalog.  It is the most current listing of the WATI collection.  To search within this database, simply click on the above link called Searchable Database.  You will then have an open window with three fields in it: Item #, Title, and Description.  You then can search by item number, any part or all of the title, or any word or phrase within the description.  For example: type in the phrase “augmentative communication” in the description field and you will receive all the listings containing “augmentative communication” in the description.

This is the Fall 2007 edition of the WATI Lending Library catalog.  This document is designed for you to browse by category, sub-category, and area of the AT Check List, which the catalog has traditionally followed. Navigate this document by simply clicking on the hyperlink of any of the areas listed.  You may also download a pdf version of this catalog by  clicking here.

There is a special edition of the library catalog for Birth to 6 providers. Resources are targeted for B-6 years population. You may download that edition by clicking here.
